Clarion - the world’s largest mobile entertainment specialist - has revealed details of its latest audio concept, based on the Daihatsu Terios, Britain’s greenest (and now possibly loudest) 4x4 SUV. At the heart of the one-off build, which was unwrapped on the Daihatsu stand at the International Motorshow, Birmingham, is something to shout about -Clarion’s latest flagship audio head unit, the award-winning DXZ948RMP touch-panel radio/CD combination unit. |

This, the world’s first single AMX DIN sized unit of its type, does away with the traditional cluster of buttons, in favour of touch panel control, and features an ultra-modern embryonic design, blending solid aluminium with soft-touch rubberised detailing.
A bank of the very latest add-on Clarion amplifiers, connected to the head unit, boost the audio power output in this Terios to approaching 1,000 watts, with a line-up of Clarion ‘speakers, including four 1000w subwoofers, custom installed to deliver an audio performance like no Terios on the road, or off it.
