British band Jamiroquai enlisted to put Clarion at the center of the world stage in 2007

Seeking to further boost global recognition for its brand name, Clarion Co., Ltd. (President: Tatsuhiko Izumi) has recruited the world famous British band Jamiroquai as the new face for its brand starting in January 2007.

It will be Jay Kay behind the wheel singing the Jamiroquai hit "Feel so Good" in the brand image video when the new blue Clarion H.M.I. “Moray” concept car designed by world-famous Italian design company Italdesign-Giugiaro* makes its world debut at the Clarion booth at the Consumer Electronics Show being held January 8-11, 2007 in Las Vegas.

News of the event will be posted in Japan on the Clarion web site in January 2007, followed by TV commercials, product catalogues, music posters and more in the stores later.

This campaign is one more step in the company’s quest for broader global marketplace recognition of its brand name that began one year ago with the launch of the new global Clarion brand in January 2006.

The choice of Jamiroquai as standard bearer was an easy one: International icons in the music field, Jamiroquai’s look and sound uniquely capture the spirit of the ideal integration of music, information and mobility, Clarion embodied in the “Clarion H.M.I. (Human Mobile Music Media Interface)” brand slogan.

Aiming to make its brand an international icon in its field as well, this is the latest of Clarion’s global activities.
